Qualiturn orders first SR20RIV in the uk. The new STAR machine will offer qualiturn customers even more one hit machining options. Producing componets in one hit, reduces costs, improves component quality and speed up delivery times.

The new machine allows 5 axis machining on a componet. We will be able to produces holes to any angles in side or face of componet. Milling with full control 5 axis, allowing engraving on radius, contour milling.

The SR 20 R IV Sliding Head Lathe is Star's latest addtion to the sliding head range. The SR 20R IV can accomodate up to 41 tools to yield a variety of tooling options.
 
The SR 20 R IV sliding head machine also has B axis controlled power driven tools for varied machining operations.

When it comes to the power of the machine, this new model's rear spindle offers equal power to that of the main, in addition, the power tools also have improved output.

• The 27-position tool station can accommodate up to 41 tools to yield a variety of tooling options
• A tool post especially designed for backworking is equipped with a Y-axis control function is standard
• The B-axis angle power-driven tool unit (Type A) 
• The gang-type tool post incorporates a “uniform load cross guide structure” which minimizes momentary load applied to the LM guide bearing and improves tool post rigidity
• The Star Motion Control System ensures an uninterrupted tool path (Type B)
